Set between the final stretch of the M3 and Tokai Main Road is Kirstenhof  which is a hidden gem of a suburb much sought after by families large and small.
Is has a magnificent  mountain backdrop, it also has its own stretch of wetlands along the Westlake River plus the adjoining Westlake golf course and the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve, so nature and plentiful birdlife are part of everyday life here.

Things to see and do in Kirstenhof

Kirstenhof is a 10 minute drive away from 2 golf courses and is close to a number of shopping centres, incredible restaurants and tourist-friendly destinations such as the Constantia Valley Wine Estates along the outstanding Constantia Wine Route. Nearby wine farms include Constantia Glen, Steenberg Vineyards, Constantia Uitsig, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting, and Groot Constantia. A number of these estates are also home to award-winning restaurants.

Kirstenhof is a perfect base for hiking and walking trails within the nearby Silvermine Nature Reserve and Tokai Forest. The forest is also a favourite picnic and braai spot for families. "The Sanctuary" is also a well-known place within Kirstenhof where many locals enjoy walking their dogs regularly amongst the beauty and quiet of the lush greenlands.

For those looking for a little retail therapy, the nearby Blue Route Mall includes around 120 shops and is always abuzz with excitement. It includes a food court with a range of different restaurants as well as a cinema.
