Andre and Annie De Klerk make a formidable team, both in business and in marriage. Both hailing from Joburg, this sweet couple have settled into their new life together on Durban’s sunny shores, bringing over two decades worth of real estate background each, with them. Both Andre and Annie also boast a solid business background, having run independent and successful businesses in recent years.
Joining Tyson Properties was a natural choice for them as Andre explained that the high standard of ethics and effective systems amongst other things drew him to the brand. Tyson Properties allows their agents to grow by providing a solid platform and good support within the branch.
Based at the Tyson Properties offices in uMhlanga, Andre and Annie have seen quite a few successful sales under their belt in and around the greater Durban area. Andre, who has previously run his own real estate agency in Joburg, works strongly on recommendations from happy clients and by using his own network of clients and partners. He is an accredited agent for Zimbali, something he proudly achieved last year. Annie has been working in the real estate industry for many years, having successfully sold a number of properties that she has overseen the redevelopment of herself whilst running a successful restaurant in uMhlanga.
This kind of experience and knowledge served them well as they closed a successful sale on the first day of showing whilst also achieving the full asking price. The property falls under the affluent and much sought after area of uMhlanga Ridge. An older property, it underwent a grand make-over that saw more than one potential buyer trying to sign on the dotted line first.
With asking price of R5,950 000 the house had a great turn out on show day as the well photographed house brought many interested buyers.
The successful buyer, a resident of Joburg snapped the house saying that it was exactly the type of house he was looking for after selling his previous home in Durban. Drawn to Durban by the sub-tropical climate and family-centric environment, the new owner was happy with the good fortune of being able to sign up first.
Andre and Annie both say that the demand for high end properties are on an increase along the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, with many wealthy investors looking to purchase along the beautiful coastal line. Developments like Zimbali and Hawaan Forests are in great demand as they offer exclusivity and privacy to their high end buyers looking to enjoy our beautiful sun, sea and surf with their families and loved ones without much disturbance.
Andre and Annie are looking forward to more successful sales and the chance to showcase the magnificent homes around Durban. Should you wish to contact them, they can be reached at andred@tysonprop.co.za and anniek@tysonprop.co.za or at the Tyson Umhlanga office 031 5616100
